Arducopter from DIY Drones is now available for preorder

DIY Drones, the awesome community for flying robot builders has announced that you can now pre-order the Arducopter - their open-source/hardware robotic quadracopter. For a mere $499 you can get the full kit (you'll have to supply your own Rx/Tx and battery) and they should start shipping sometime in November. The pre-soldered and tested kit is $580.

Here's what it comes with:

ArduCopter Quad v1.0 Full KIT price will be $499 USD
- ArduPilot Mega
- ArduPilot Mega IMU / OilPan
- MediaTek GPS
- Needed connectors for GPS and APM
- Motors (850kv), ESCs (20Amp), 10x45 Propellers
- Full Frame kit
