Mac is my first attempt at a "covered" robot. He is four wheel drive (4WD) powered by 4 modified servos. The two servos on each side are controlled from the same signal. Eventually I hope to have a Gameboy camera mounted behind the windshield. The small cylinder on top is a Dinsmore compass. The black rectangle is a GP2D12 IR distance sensor. The wheels are from my Lego Mindstorms kit.
Components:
- CPU: ATMega 128
- Drive: 4X modified Hobby Servos
- Sensors: GP2D12 Distance sensor, Dinsmore compass

It's so seldom we take the time/trouble to create a nice outer shell for our robots, it's easy to forget how much nicer they look that way.
