Slipknot

We designed Slipknot to have an old fashioned look. The flagellum are offset on the standard 45-degree angle. The motors are the classic Nihon lens motors from BG Micro. The frame is brass, and this is our first brass robot.

The Nervous Net is comprised of six Nv Neurons on a 74AC14 Schmitt inverter chip. Slipknot exhibits a wide range of behaviors, dependent upon light and chance.
