Micro sumo robots must fit within a 5 cm cube, and have a mass less than 100 grams. This is my current micro sumo project. I was going for stealth, as the other micro sumo's I compete against mount their proximity sensors very high. Currently, the only downfall is that the batteries used arn't rechargable... I plan on my next desgin to use lithuim polymers. Denzan weighs in at 99.6 grams, runs the motors at 12volts when oponent is spotted (6v when searching), and was a lot of fun to build!
Components:
- 1 'Megabitty' micro robot controller
- 2 'techmaxx 1A' gear motors
- 1 Line 'Megabitty' line sensor
- 1 Proximity 'Megabitty' proximity sensor
- 2 6v lithium pile batteries (12v total madness!)
- self adheasive lead weights
